More trouble for Quinton "Rampage" Jackson... taken in for mental evaluation.

According to NBC Sports, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for a mental health evaluation. Apparently around 4:30 PM one an acquaintance of Rampage flagged down a police car due to some concern about "alarming statements and unusual behavior he was exhibiting".

Jackson was cooperative with the police and was detained and transported to a hospital for evaluation. No status on his evaluation has been released.

What must Rampage have been saying or doing for an acquaintance of his to consider his behavior more over-the-top than usual? I mean Rampage is pretty unusual as is, so this must have been pretty crazy.

Former mixed martial arts light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was arrested Tuesday after a series of collisions allegedly involving the pickup truck he was driving. And when I say truck.. take a look at it. It's literally a billboard of himself on the side of the massive big rig!  Notice the front drivers side wheel...!   Who 'dat?

Jackson was booked into Orange County Jail for investigation of felony evading, hit and run and reckless driving, according to Lt. Paul Dondero of the Costa Mesa Police Department. Bail was set at $25,000.

Police received a report of an accident on the 55 Freeway near 19th Street in Costa Mesa involving a large pickup truck that had struck other vehicles and fled the scene, Dondero said.

A Costa Mesa officer spotted the pickup getting involved in another collision and fleeing toward Newport Beach. The pickup, which had a tire disabled in the collisions, was pulled over in Newport Beach and Jackson was taken into custody without incident, Dondero said.

There were no injuries involved in the various collisions, he said.

Jackson, 30, who lives in Irvine, was upset by Forrest Griffin at UFC 86 earlier this month in Las Vegas.

Former UFC fighters Quinton Rampage & Jeremy Jackson arrested

With two arrests of UFC and former UFC fighters Dana White can NOT be happy about this.

Jeremy Jackson, who appeared on season four of "The Ultimate Fighter," was arrested late last month and charged with seven felony offenses, including two counts of forcible rape.  

The 26-year-old Jackson was apprehended on June 30 in Oxnard, Calif., and is being held in a Ventura County jail, with bail set at $1 million.

Officials with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department confirmed the arrest and charges with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). Events surrounding the arrest were not made available.  

In addition to the two counts of forcible rape, Jackson was charged with kidnapping to commit another crime, first-degree residential burglary, assault with a firearm, dissuading a witness by force or threat, and criminal threats.  At his initial arraignment, three additional charges -- all felonies -- were levied against Jackson, which included two counts of sexual assault and one count of sex crimes (aggravated circumstances).  

Jackson is due in Ventura County Superior Court again Wednesday, at which time he is expected to enter pleas to the charges.  

Jackson's appearance on the fourth season of "TUF" was short-lived. UFC President Dana White kicked him off the reality show after he violated rules by leaving the fighter house to meet a woman.

He was invited back to fight on the season finale and suffered a neck injury in a submission loss to Pete Spratt.  

Since that fight in November of 2006, Jackson (9-5) has fought just once, winning a Total Combat match in March of last year. 

While I definitely believe in being innocent until proven guilty, somebody wants his ass to remain in jail. Otherwise why would his bail be set at $1,000,000.00! That's a lot.

Dana White is NOT going to be happy about this. We know how much Dana hates fighters tarnishing the reputation of the UFC.
