I don't generally like reposting an interview, but this is a good write up and worth sharing. GOOD LUCK WITH THE FIGHT MIKE!!!

Very close to the fight now so this will be pretty short, guys.
The
whole town of Montreal is buzzing with UFC fans, and I know it is a
real privilege to be a part of this card. The UFC are only going to
have one debut show in Canada and it is great to be part of this.
I
feel razor sharp for the fight. I lost my last fight by not doing
everything that I could have done and letting the judges make their own
minds up. I learned a lot of lessons from that fight, and one of them
was never let a fight go to a decision, to give it everything while
winning or losing is still in my hands.
I lost that fight and it was my fault. Saturday night will be very different.
As
for my opponent, Captain Miserable, I don’t think he can last a round
with me. I’ve studied his fights and I think he’s slower than I was at
205 lbs, and now I am much lighter and faster. I don’t think he can
take me down, so his BJJ will be a non-issue in this fight, but if the
fight does go to the ground he’ll find my BJJ is no joke at all.
Speaking of jokes, I know some people think
I’ve
taken my eye off the ball by getting into a bit of a war of words with
my opponent but, believe me, I am going to fight my fight and do what I
was always going to do. Don’t blink. I’m not going out there like a
maniac, but I will be starting very fast, pushing the pace and showing
what I can do now that I am at my proper weight class.
Captain
Miserable may think he deserves a title shot now, but I want to fight
contenders and work my up the ranks. I really do feel this is a fresh
start for me in a division I should have been in a long time ago.
You’ve heard me say things like that for months now. This weekend I’ll prove it.
